MK-Di01 Indicator Setup with Digital Load Cells

The MK-Di01 — also sold as the D2008H and D2008FA — works with MKCells LU-D and AMCells QS-D digital cells. This page follows the commissioning through on video, from identifying the cell protocol to setting each address and bringing the bridge online.

MKCells LU-D · AMCells QS-D

Protocols C, E, K and O. In Vietnam the ones normally encountered are C and E.

VMC VLC-121D 30 tf

Communicates using the Keli type E format.

Order of work

Same sequence as any digital bridge — addressing first, everything else after:

  1. Identify and set the addresses
  2. Group the cells and confirm how many are connected
  3. Correct the corners
  4. Enter capacity, division and communication settings

Step 1 — Know the indicator and identify the cell

Introducing the MK-Di01 and telling a protocol C cell from a protocol E one. Establish this before touching any settings — the wrong assumption here wastes the rest of the visit.

Step 2 — Set the address

Assigning an address on the MK-Di01 to an MK-LU-D 30 tf cell running protocol C.

Step 3 — Connect the cells

Wiring the MK-Di01 to MK-LU-D 30 tf cells on protocol C, in three parts.

Part 3

If the display shows ECC

ECC 01, ECC 02 and similar codes on the MK-Di01 point to a communication problem — a cell that is not answering. Check the addresses first, then the bus wiring, before suspecting the cell itself.

KALA Technical Notes

A replacement cell has to match the protocol the indicator speaks, not just the capacity and the mounting. Send us the indicator model and the marking on the cell you are replacing, and we will confirm what fits.
