A junction box connects multiple Load Cells to a single indicator — distributing excitation power, summing signals, and enabling corner adjustment so the whole platform delivers even accuracy across the entire weighing surface. For truck scales, tanks or silos with 2 or more Load Cells, this component is essentially mandatory.

For truck scales or outdoor installations, prioritize junction boxes rated IP68 or higher to avoid moisture-related drift errors that are difficult to detect.

Calibration weights verify, calibrate and confirm the accuracy of an electronic scale — an essential tool during installation, maintenance and verification. Manufactured to the OIML R111 standard, with accuracy classes ranging from E1 (national laboratories) to M3 (general use); bench, floor, and truck scales commonly use class M1.

Available in several forms: cylindrical weights (lab and bench scale use), cast iron weights (floor and truck scale use — impact resistant, good value), and forklift-lift weights (with a slot for fork lifting, used for calibrating large capacities such as tank or truck scales).

It’s not necessary to choose the highest accuracy class available — what matters is selecting according to your actual system requirements and calibration procedure. For junction boxes, prioritize connector quality and water-tightness over price alone — a damp junction box can cause unstable, hard-to-detect errors.
